Who operates UtilityTrove

UtilityTrove is operated by Sitrucanaid Inc., an Ontario, Canada corporation. The Privacy Officer can be reached at support@utilitytrove.com.

Information we handle

The public utilities are designed to process the text, numbers, dates, and other values you enter locally in your browser. We do not intentionally transmit or store those tool inputs on our servers.

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, topic, and message. Please do not send passwords, payment information, government identifiers, or sensitive tool inputs.

Cloudflare processes ordinary technical request information, which may include IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals, to deliver and protect the website.

Cloudflare also measures website performance through a browser beacon. It sends page addresses and technical performance information, including loading times and browser details, to Cloudflare independently of your Google Analytics choice.

Why we use information

We use contact information to answer requests, investigate problems, respond to privacy or accessibility concerns, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. If you allow optional analytics, we use limited usage information to understand page visits and whether tools are used so we can maintain and improve UtilityTrove. We limit collection and use to purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances.

Analytics, advertising, and consent

Google Analytics loads only after you allow optional analytics through UtilityTrove's privacy choices. The site's analytics configuration supplies the canonical page address without query parameters or fragments and leaves the referring-page field empty. Site events describe page categories, tool identifiers, and operational status; they do not include tool inputs, calculator values, generated passwords, or contact-form contents. Google may also process browser, device, and technical connection information when its service loads.

The site's analytics control denies analytics storage by default and keeps advertising storage and advertising signals denied. Google AdSense code is installed separately on eligible pages and can request Google resources independently of the analytics choice. The analytics checkbox controls analytics only; it does not provide advertising consent.

Google advertising cookies and personalized ads

When Google advertising is served, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to UtilityTrove or other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using visits to this and other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. See Google’s advertising technologies information and participating vendors’ opt-out choices. Opting out of personalization does not necessarily remove advertisements or all storage used for security and measurement. Google and other advertising providers process information under their own privacy policies.

Service providers and processing locations

Cloudflare provides website hosting, content delivery, and security. Google provides optional Google Analytics, the AdSense service referenced by the installed advertising code, and email services for support@utilitytrove.com. Providers may process information outside Ontario or Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of the processing jurisdiction.

Retention and safeguards

The contact form prepares a message in your email application; the website does not store the form submission. Our policy is generally to delete ordinary support correspondence within 24 months after the matter is resolved. We may retain records longer where reasonably necessary for legal, security, privacy, dispute-resolution, record-keeping, or other legitimate requirements. Contact support@utilitytrove.com to ask about a support message or request its deletion, subject to applicable law.

Google Analytics retains collected information according to its property settings. Its user- and event-level retention controls do not apply to standard aggregated reports. Withdrawing analytics consent does not erase information previously received by Google. See Google’s explanation of analytics retention.

Tool calculations run in your browser. Avoid sending sensitive information in support messages. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can use the tools without an account and can decline optional analytics. Advertising personalization choices are linked above and are separate from the analytics control. Subject to applicable law, you may ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold, or withdraw consent for optional uses, by contacting the Privacy Officer at support@utilitytrove.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children and policy changes

UtilityTrove is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when practices or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified on this page.
