About UtilityTrove
Learn who operates UtilityTrove and how its browser tools, guides, testing, privacy choices, and corrections process are managed.
UtilityTrove is an independent collection of practical browser utilities operated by Sitrucanaid Inc., an Ontario, Canada corporation. The site is built for people who need to complete a small task—check a calculation, clean a list, convert a measurement, or create a random value—without opening an account or sending the working input to us.
What we publish
Our scope is deliberately focused: text tools, random generators, everyday calculators, and converters. Each tool is paired with an explanation of its method, a worked example, important limitations, and answers to questions that are specific to that task. Longer guides explain selected formulas and decision points in more depth and link to primary or authoritative references when an outside standard matters.
UtilityTrove does not publish professional advice or promise that a general-purpose result fits every contract, jurisdiction, platform, or measurement process. Pages identify material assumptions so visitors can decide when to confirm a result with a responsible authority or qualified professional.
Who is responsible for the content
The UtilityTrove editorial team is the publishing function of Sitrucanaid Inc. The company is responsible for the original explanations, interface copy, examples, and tool implementations on this site. We do not attach invented individual credentials to pages. Where a guide depends on an external rule or standard, we identify the organization or source so readers can inspect it directly.
How tools are checked
Tool logic is reviewed against stated formulas, boundary conditions, and representative examples. Automated tests cover core calculations and failure cases, including percentage modes, mortgage benchmark scenarios, leap-year date arithmetic, Canadian business-day rules, decimal and binary storage factors, temperature conversion, random-output constraints, text normalization, and browser-local processing controls.
A passing test does not remove every limitation. Browser Unicode behaviour, rounding, future holiday calendars, lender practices, platform character counts, and other outside rules can differ. Those limitations are described on the relevant page rather than hidden behind a generic disclaimer.
Privacy, accessibility, and advertising
Public tool inputs are processed locally in the browser and are not intentionally transmitted or stored by UtilityTrove. The site is designed for keyboard use, semantic navigation, readable focus states, responsive layouts, and reduced-motion preferences. Optional services and current data practices are described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice.
Advertising helps support free access, but it does not determine formulas or editorial conclusions. Ads are supplied and labelled by the advertising provider, are not tool results, and should not obstruct the primary task. See the Advertising Disclosure.
Corrections and feedback
Methods and source links are reviewed when a tool changes and on a periodic maintenance schedule. If you find a calculation error, unclear assumption, broken reference, accessibility barrier, or privacy concern, contact support@utilitytrove.com and include the page, inputs that reproduce the issue when they are not sensitive, the observed result, and the result you expected. We assess corrections according to our editorial standards.
